Anton Smit is a South African artist.
He achieved his first artistic breakthroughs in 1977 when he received special mentions in the South African Art Association’s New Signatures competition in Pretoria.
In 1994 he put 35 sculptures on exhibition in New York at the Grand Central Station as part of the Strengthening the Link initiative to boost trade between South Africa and The United States.
In 2003 Smit opened his own sculpture garden, at the spectacular Anton Smit Sculpture Park in Aqua Vista, with a breathtaking view of
Bronkhorstspruit Dam.

Nicolas Lehmann, works between Cape Town, South Africa and St Paul de Vence on the French Riviera. Nicolas is a creative self-taught sculptor.
In 1995, he started with his sculptural work. His art is raw, with a twist of poetry.
His primary materials are recycled mediums such as Steel, Bronze, Glass, Wood.

The guiding thread of his work has been an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between humans and the natural world and draws on his intensive exposure to wildlife, cultural diversity and artistic engagement.
Experts qualify his work as « self-assured and confident. Powerful figures, torsos and heads bespeak a certain strength at once capturing a solidity and sense of movement ».
